I grew up very sheltered in a small town in Southern California and moved to Sacramento on my own when I was seventeen to pursue a career in writing. Moving at such young age out of a conservative place gave me a drive and passion to tell authentic and diverse stories that many people like me don’t grow up getting to see or experience.

I am a screenwriter and producer who just earned a BA with Honors from the BECA program at San Francisco State University.

During my time in school, I produced episodes of UnderSF: SFSYou and wrote the BECAfest Awards Show. I have also written and produced many short videos and documentaries, as well as worked as a consultant for many proposals and scripts. I produced a short film, “The Dance,” which was screened at the Sacramento Film Festival.

 

I am currently working as a social media manager as well as writing a pilot script for a television series. My goal is to create films, and TV shows about authentic and inclusive stories, to reveal a deeper world many do not get to see.
